Wheel Bite Privacy Policy

Aspen Ridge Labs LLC ("Aspen Ridge Labs," the "Company," "we," "us," or "our") owns and operates the Wheel Bite mobile application (the "App").

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, protect, and disclose information related to your use of the App.

By accessing or using Wheel Bite, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and agree to the collection and use of information as described here. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not access or use the App.

Aspen Ridge Labs LLC is responsible for the information processing described in this Policy.

Wheel Bite does not require user accounts or allow users to submit user-generated content. As a result, we collect a limited amount of personal information.

We do not collect, store, or require you to provide:

• Your name, email address, phone number, or physical address.
• User-generated content, such as reviews or ratings.
• Financial information. Purchases, if any, are handled by the App Store or Google Play Store.
• Login credentials or passwords.

To provide the App's functionality and improve its performance, the following types of information may be collected:

Precise Location (GPS/Network)

Wheel Bite uses your precise location to provide nearby restaurant listings. Your location is used in real time to retrieve relevant results from Google Places.

App Usage and Analytics

We collect usage and analytics information to monitor and improve the App's performance, identify bugs, and understand how features are used. This may include information such as how often the wheel is spun and which types of filters are used.

IP Address and Device ID

Third-party services, including Firebase and the Google Places API, may automatically collect your IP address and device identifiers to support service delivery, troubleshooting, and generalized geographic targeting, such as determining the appropriate country for service delivery.

Aspen Ridge Labs does not use this information to identify you individually.

Wheel Bite relies on third-party services to provide its functionality, support its infrastructure, and understand application performance.

4.1 Google Places API

Wheel Bite uses the Google Places API to retrieve restaurant listings based on your current location.

When you use the App, your current location is temporarily transmitted to Google to retrieve nearby restaurant information.

We transmit only the location data necessary to search for nearby places. We do not share other user data with Google through this integration.

Google processes information under its own privacy practices. Aspen Ridge Labs does not control Google's data practices. Please review Google's Privacy Policy for additional information about how Google handles data.

4.2 Firebase

Wheel Bite uses Google Firebase for hosting, backend infrastructure, and analytics.

Firebase may process anonymous usage information, including crash reports and performance metrics, to support the App's operation and help us identify technical issues.

Firebase does not store personally identifiable information (PII) or your historical location data for Wheel Bite.

Aspen Ridge Labs uses the information collected through Wheel Bite for the following purposes:

5.1 Service Provision

To provide accurate, real-time nearby restaurant suggestions using your location data.

5.2 App Improvement

To understand how the App is used and improve its functionality, features, and overall user experience.

5.3 Technical Support

To detect, troubleshoot, and address technical issues, errors, and performance problems affecting the App.

Aspen Ridge Labs uses commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect the limited information collected through Wheel Bite, primarily anonymized analytics data.

These measures are intended to protect information against loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.

However, no security measure is perfect or impenetrable. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of information processed through the App.

Wheel Bite is not intended for children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children under 13.

If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will promptly delete that information.

Wheel Bite is primarily intended for users in the United States, but the App may be accessed from other countries.

If you access Wheel Bite from outside the United States, you acknowledge that your information may be processed and stored in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your location.

Aspen Ridge Labs may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App, our practices, or other relevant circumstances.

When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this Policy.

Changes become effective as soon as the revised Policy is accessible through the App or on our website.

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information.
